AUTUMN LEAVES
by Claire Beadon Carnell
'Autumn Leaves'
Oil 12 x 9
This is the first painting I have completed from
the road that leads to our little cabin in the woods.
The leaves have been particularly spectacular this
year, and I wanted to capture at least one of my
favorite spots.
As I have been painting, a favorite oldie from Nat
King Cole started playing...so this has been entitled
'Autumn Leaves' in tribute to his lovely song.

This painting is beautiful, Claire. You really have captured the autumn colors. What a wonderful place to have a cabin.
This is such an appealing painting - the trees, the light, the road. I love that road. I would take it, at whatever peril to my car.
An excellent rendering of Autumn, well captured, Claire!
what a lovely bright yellow. True fall like colours. I will be in PA for turkey day.
Thank you, Pat! We are really loving it!!!
Barbara, that road is pretty rocky...I try to avoid the pointy ones! Thanks for your comments.
I appreciate your comments, Marie. We've really had some beautiful Autumn colors here this year.
Thank you, Melanie. PA is the perfect place to be for Thanksgiving!
