'Lakeside'
Oil Plein Air

What a gorgeous day at Codorus State Park yesterday - and
thanks to Sharon Benner for making the arrangements
for the Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Painters to meet there
and paint. We met in the morning, stopped to have a picnic
lunch beside the beautiful lake, and then continued painting
at another site. The whole day was a little slice of heaven...
We all want to go back to paint there again in the fall.
Besides seeing Canadian Geese swimming with their
fuzzy little goslings, bluebirds, purple martins, and a
magnificent Great Blue heron - we were visited by fellow
Daily Painters of Pennsylvania member Charlotte Yealey!

Gorgeous, Claire! The reflections in the water are perfect and those wildflowers and the tree in the second are so very pretty!

Thank you, Hilda. We are planning to go back and paint in the fall when the leaves have changed color. I think the relections in the water of the lake will be phenomenal!
