It took me a little while to get this eggplant 'comfortably'
sitting on my canvas. After a few wiped-out efforts, I
made the canvas vertical and things finally started to come
together. The more I observed my eggplant, I was amazed
at all of the reds I was seeing in those deep purples.
Now that I have finished this, this lovely eggplant
is going to become a delicious side dish for our supper!

I like the vertical format which is so apt for this veggie, the purple glow is unmistakble and it would be a treat to look at all these pieces together in one place!
