When I started this blogging adventure, never in my wildest
dreams would I have believed that I would still be
here three years later! I actually remember
worrying about wondering what I would write...
This has been a fantastic year - I finished up my
'100 Paintings in 100 Days' Challenge, went on many
wonderful plein air painting excursions, had a fantastic
show at the Delaplaine Center in Frederick, MD...so
many wonderful art experiences and opportunities to
paint, paint, paint!
I've also had a wonderful time with my students up in the studio,
and the results of their work shone brightly at the
Student Show in June. I am always so proud to hang their
paintings, then to step back and admire their talent and progress.
What has really kept me blogging has been the unflagging support
and encouragement of my followers. Your stopping by and
commenting on my art work - your support
and touching comments have made this all such
an incredible experience, and I thank you
with all of my heart.
Here's to 2012, and another year of painting, sharing experiences,
and blogging!
