You are rockin! I love all the rocks, but especially that topmost one, it looks so real with that mossy undercropping. Nice one Claire!
You did an AMAZING job with these rocks, Claire. They look very natural. I can see why you like to paint them..Wonderful light and love the pink buds on the trees...EXCELLENT PIECE!
Thanks so much, Pattie. It was so much fun to paint the character into those rocks!
Thank you, Hilda - the light was the most important thing to me in this painting. The way it hit the rocks, made them even more interesting to paint!
Absolutely beautiful, Claire. I love the pink flowers in the distance. Such a gorgeous bit of spring right on your canvas. And your tick story is grosser than mine! LOL
Gros bisous
Your rocks really rock :-)
The top most rock has given a lot of depth n distance, makes me try to look beyond!
this is lovely, reminds me muchly of some of the scenery around here...
Thank you, Sherry! Your picture of the tick reminded me of my awful experience. Imagine what a horror it was to be driving down the road and to suddenly realize I had ticks on my face...
Thanks so much, Padmaja!
Thank you, Kat. I just checked your blog and commented on your lovely landscape :)
Merci, Martine.
