BREAM FARM ROAD
An Original Oil Painting
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'Bream Farm Road'
Oil on Linen Panel
20 x 24

The Bream Farm is right down the road from where I live,
and the owner has graciously allowed me to come
and take photographs, as well as let me know
that I can come there to paint any time.  I just loved these
rolling hills with the rows of corn following the contours
of the hills.  A bit of heaven on a early summer evening...

It seems I have seen this spot before, yes? It is just as gorgeous though. Beautiful work on all those rows of corn and the depth of that field and the trees on the left.

It's so nice when someone realizes how cool scenery is important to us. I bet this view is lovely any time of year, the perspective you gave it makes me feel like I am there. I can hear nature all around, too.

Claire, this is a beauty. I really get the feel of the terrain and could walk right into that background.

Beautifully captured, Pat. This would make a lovely snow scene too!

Sherry - this is the first time you have seen this! I just finished this, and am working on another painting of the same farm that I will blog eventually. Getting ready for an exhibit of my work at Brath and Hughes Gallery this coming December :)

Sunny, as a child I spent time on my great uncle's farm. We would help picking green beans and collecting potatoes...then we would play!

Thank you Rosemary - I may have to go back to that hill if we get some snow this winter - you are absolutely right!

Hilda, it was a perfect early summer evening. As I worked on this painting, it brought back all of the wonderful memories of being there.

What a beautiful place. Your painting makes me want to go there. I really like the sense of distance you've created and the colors are beautiful and soothing.
