I am hoping that we get some snow this winter. This
was painted today from photographs I took two years
ago. The late afternoon sun was creating some
gorgeous color on the snowy hills.

Gorgeous sunlight on the snow, Claire. I love the snow too, though preferably as I look out from inside. LOL Or unless I am sledding and all nice and warm.
