A great day of plein air painting with my friend
Pat Putz at her beautiful cabin in the woods.
We had to dodge the raindrops, but had
fun painting part of her home and her gorgeous
flower gardens.  This is my painting - almost complete.
There are only a few things that I might
tweak once I get it home.

Here's a picture of Pat painting

Pat's little cocker spaniel, Caylee, decided to
stay inside to watch us paint!

Haven't you painted her back garden before, Claire? I so loved that painting and her home and this one just reinforces those feelings. Your painting looks awesome! Love those kinds of screen doors too.

You are very observant, Sherry! Yes, this is my friend Pat's house and I have painted there with her a few times. The flowers are always so beautiful, and the chickens are clucking in the background - a lovely place to create art!
