I spotted these beautiful blue flowers up
on Little Round Top (Gettysburg Battlefield National Park)
one Summer morning when I had gone up there to paint.
It seems as though every time I go up there I see something
new. It's such an amazing place, and never fails
to intrigue me.
Note: This plant is known as Viper's Bugloss
(Echium vulgare), Blue Weed or Blue Devil.
