This painting is a result from a recent painting
excursion I took to Cape Cod this past September.
I am always fascinated by the patterning of the
marshes, and the way the water weaves
in and out and around the grasses. What a
perfect place for an egret to visit!

This is beautiful Claire. I really like the feeling of perspective you've achieved.
We have marshes right near my work and I've often seen 100's of the egrets stopping over. This is beautiful, Claire.
