An Original Oil Painting

SOLD

I grow patches of lavender in my garden because
of the color and the incredible scent.  It's
impossible to walk by the plants without
dragging your hands along the blossoms
so that the beautiful scent is let loose.
(My granddaughter Stephanie Grace posed
for this painting - thank you Stevie!)

I too love lavender. I can almost smell the scent released by Stevie's hands. Beautiful and introspective piece, Claire.

A beautiful scene, Claire. Love the wonderful colors.. We have a lavender farm about an hour from us and as soon as you open the car door the smell hits you!! and of course, you have to buy some flowers! Adding your granddaughter was an added treat!!
