'Dunes at Barnstable, Cape Cod'

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been...
the Nature Preserve at Barnstable, Cape Cod, MA.
It was a blistering hot day, but my husband
and I decided to hike in. The entire hike is six miles
one way, but we only got about 2.5 miles in
before we decided to head back.
Although it was HOT, it was a gorgeous day,
and the vistas were incredible. The dunes were on one
side, and the marshlands were on the other. We even
got to see baby Leatherback turtle tracks in the sand.

Very wonderful landscape painting !!!
Have a nice week !!!
Not good with "HOT" but the vistas are always incredible on your blog. I can almost hear the grasses blowing in the wind. A gorgeous painting, Claire!
These dunes are beautifully painted. The greens are the perfect greens and your skies always look so realistic!!!
Beautiful, Claire. I just want to walk into this painting.
