SNOWSTORM!

We had just shy of 10 inches of snow here at 4:30
this afternoon. If you can see the pumpkins on
the posts for my garden fence, those white things
aren't stems, but snow peaks!

And the snow continues...

Can't believe that you all are getting the snow this time. No snow has fallen in NH since last week. We're watching the weather reports and what is happening south of us this time. Southern NH is supposed to accrue about 6" during this night. Hope you all are prepared for your accumulation.

The beyond of your yard shows exactly why I think PA is just so very beautiful. We have similar spots here, but oh! The trees!! I just love them. And don't they look beautiful with the snow!!! So glad you got a day home to paint and enjoy the beauty while staying warm and snug inside! Your DSfDF challenge piece is coming along beautifully, Claire! She is a cutie too!

Thanks everyone. We wound up getting almost a foot of snow before it was all done. Got up this morning and the sun was out making all of those icy little snowflakes sparkle like diamonds! What a great Christmas present...
I did get out this afternoon to take some pictures when the sun was low and the shadows were long. Ran into another person who was out trying to capture the same beautiful scenery. Think I have some good reference shots for paintings in there!!!
