Day 71
I get a lot of these cabbage moths in my garden during the
summer months, and although I know they wreak havok
on my cabbage heads and other veggies, I still enjoy their delicate
and ethereal presence as they flit from plant to plant. This one decided
that the meadow sage was going to be his lunch du jour.

Good question Claire..but I have no clue... I do know that I love this painting..the colors are so vibrant. Love the way the light is hitting the butterfly.
Beaucoup de légèreté dans cette peinture, votre papillon est très aérien et il se plaît à butiner de fleur en fleur... il doit apprécier vos couleurs...!
Bisous
Claire, you painted this moth as delicately as he actually is. The beautiful colors of the meadow sage makes me yearn for warmer, sunnier days. Beautiful!
I've never seen a moth like this one, Claire, so you've taught me something new. And that flower is meadow sage? I didn't know that either! A lovely and indeed ethereal piece here.
Ooo...love that purple/lavender color!!
Claire,
Beautiful blues. Nice job. Thanks for visiting.
