Back to my painting challenge! One of my favorite
summer flowers is the coneflower, and I usually have several colors
of them growing in my garden. Because of all the rain we had
in the spring, only my purple coneflowers came up this
year, and even they are scarce. I am hoping my
daughter will share some of her baby coneflowers with
me next year!

Love how you've handled the foliage behind the flowers, Claire. Still, these beauties are front and center and oh so lovely!
