I don't teach group classes during the Summer any more
because of so many students going on vacation during the
Summer months, and also my wanting to take advantage
of the milder weather for plein air painting.
Last Wednesday, I held a special Summer workshop in
my studio that specifically involved painting greens in
the landscape. In the course of 6 and a half hours, each student
worked on two separate small paintings - both with a wide variety
of greens. I was really impressed with what everyone
accomplished, especially in such a short period of time.
What was especially interesting was seeing the growth
from the first painting to the second painting! Hope they
all had as much fun as I did!

Allen M., and Lisa L. showing progress on the second 8 x 10 painting,
which helped develop an understanding of warmer greens and
greens in the distance.

which contained some cooler color greens.

A la vue des sourires sur leur visage on ne peut que déduire une réelle satisfaction... Des élèves assidus... Bravo!
