'Babe Gone Bad'
Oil on Canvas Panel
6 x 6
When the movie 'Babe' came out, I fell in love. Who wouldn't
fall in love with the adorable pig who was the main
character of this enchanting film? Someone gave me this
little stuffed Babe that was distributed with McDonald's
Happy Meals. One day I decided to alter his appearance
a bit, and that was when Babe Gone Bad was born!
He stayed on my desk at work until I retired, and now
he has a reserved spot at the top of my easel.
Babe is my muse...'That'll do pig...'

Your pig really went bad, even got a stud in his nose, and what's that he's smoking?!! Love the humour of this painting.
(A friends daughter became a vegetarian after watching 'Babe'!)
Oh my goodness, Claire!! Thanks for the laugh this a.m.! Love the title and oh so apt. Loved hearing about your little muse at work too. Babe gone bad is perfect!
Just wondering if you know how Pat K. is doing? I haven't seen a post in quite awhile, neither on her blog or over at the DPP blog.
Claire - what a neat mascot. Love that you immortalized your Babe with this great painting!
Fun!
You certainly made my day...LOL. How cute is this painting?? Perfect title!
Oh my goodness! You are so bad! Love the pig gone bad and his watchful eye over your easel as you paint. This made my day too!
Thank you, everyone! This was a joy to paint, and I really appreciate all of your comments.
