CITY ISLAND AND THE OLD BATH HOUSE
Original Plein Air
Oil Painting by Claire Beadon Carnell Painting

'City Island and the Old Bath House'
Oil on Canvas Panel
6 x 8

Last Thursday, painters from the Susquehanna Valley
Plein Air Painters (including new member Larry Lerew)
met at Negley Park in Lemoyne to paint
the various views of the Susquehanna River, including
City Island.  The weather was gorgeous for painting,
making for some beautiful light and shadows.  My
painting came out of my pochade box yesterday morning
as I was getting ready to go down to Harper's Ferry,
West Virginia to paint - so I am hoping when I get a
moment to take a good look at it I can decide whether
it is completely finished and can be signed :)

The painting is beautiful! Looks like it's ready for a signature and close up post! What a fabulous day for painting out with your group!

Thank you, Rosemary! We did have a beautiful day to paint - after so many days of rain, we are even more appreciative of the sunny ones :)
