Day 95

My pear obsession continues, especially with these
beautiful seckel pears.  I really like their compact
forms, wonderful shapes and rich colors.  I placed
these in my black box with one light source to
make the colors really pop - especially the
reflected light.  I don't think I could ever get
bored with painting these little gems.

The glow that you achieved is fabulous, the size makes it a special linear composition!

So rich and voluptuous, if one can say that about pears!

Padmaja, I have never painted on this particular 4 x 8 format, and I was pleased with the way the pears fit within. Thank you so much for your encouraging comments!
