It certainly is the beauty of nature !! I love the contrast between the rock and blossoms.

I, too, love that shadow on the blossoms between the rocks..and the rich green atmospheric background.

Thank you, Azra - that is what compelled me to paint this. Such a seemingly delicate tree rooting itself down in these huge boulders!

Thanks, Pattie! I need to sign the painting yet, and will be doing a little glazing - some on those very shadows.

Tant de délicatesse dans ce petit arbre fleuri... Une peinture pleine de douceur printanière.
Je suis toujours étonnée de voir comment certaines plantes peuvent pousser dans un univers qui paraît parfois inhospitalier...

Merci, Martine. Je pense que cela s'applique à trop de gens - certaines des personnes les plus merveilleuses sont sortis de la misère et la tragédie. L'esprit humain est une chose étonnante!

Thank you, Sherry - I think this applies to people as well. Sometimes life can be very difficult, yet we have the spirit to push forward and 'bloom' in our own unique ways.
