'Ducky Day'
Plein Air
Plein Air
Oil on Panel
painted in Boiling Springs. Some of the artists painted
the wonderful architecture that can be found in this
lovely little town, and some of us painted around the lake.
I found a shaded spot (that included a bench) that
looked across the lake to the raceway.
All types of ducks, Canadian geese and even a swan
drifted by as I worked on my painting...what a day!

Lovely view to bring on a size like this one, so much happening here, you took me to the spot!
What a lovely and oh so serene scene, Claire! Hope you found your time relaxing as you worked.
Another beautiful painting, Claire. I love the light hitting the house and wonderful trees.! VERY nice piece.
How convenient that they had that bench there for you! LOL! Great painting!
I've never seen this spot at the lake painted before, Claire. Nicely done, as usual.
Thank you, Padmaja.- I am glad I could share this special spot with you!
Thanks, Sherry. It was quite relaxing until the rats came to the water's edge to play!
Thank you, Hilda! I always appreciate your thoughtful comments.
Thank you , Pat - I purposely chose a different perspective - I am often drawn to the other end of the lake, and I wanted to do something different.
Thanks, Kimberly - that bench was the perfect place to paint - especially since it was located under a nice big, shady tree!
