Perhaps one of my favorite places up by our cabin
is this clearing that displays an amazingl vista of the farmland
and Blue Mountain Ridge below(this is only a small portion of
what is visible). We have put a picnic
table there where we can sit and absorb the view. While
I was painting, there were Redtail hawks circling in the sky
and screeching out their distinctive call. They floated on the
air currents, and like myself, just enjoyed the quiet beauty of the day.

Gros bisous
An exceptional painting, Claire! And I really love the title! :)
Thanks you Dean, I am still thinking about your recent lilac painting!
Beautiful painting and view, how lucky you are!
A perfect title for this beautiful view of the surround farmer's fields, Claire. I've always loved the quilt patchwork look of the ground from an airplane and it is so pretty to see upon closer inspection too. Beautiful work!!
I love that view, Claire!! You absolutely captured the beauty of this place...I love the farm in the distance..just beautiful!!
Claire, a beautiful interpretation for the quilt challenge. Very creative.
