Memories of Maine Series
Around the Bend

'Around the Bend'
Oil 6 x 8

Thought I would work on one of the smaller Maine paintings
today. My husband and I had taken the boat out late one
afternoon, and I got some great pictures. This view is
across the pond and to the left of where we were staying.
It was a great little island to kayak around!

If you would like to see more of my work, please
go to my website. Thank you!

Claire, this looks so nice. It almost reminds me of one of the Susquehanna River islands. Maine must have been an artist's dream vacation.

Thank you, Sylviane!

Thanks, Pat. Yes, Maine is an artist's haven. I could easily live there.

What a beautiful place and moment in time you have captured, Claire! I am reminded too of how many times I have to really stare at the horizon lines to try to figure out if I am seeing hills in the distance or if it is just clouds! Looks like you had a gorgeous day here and I so want to visit this little spot!
