Memories of Maine Series
Daybreak

'Daybreak'
Oil 8 x 16
Started this one last night, and then finished it up
today. This is the view from the cabin again, but
of the right side of Miller's island as the sun was
beginning to break.
I have to say that I am having more fun with each
painting I do from this series...I think it's because
of all of the wonderful memories it is bringing
forth!
If you are interested in seeing more of my work,

Wonderful series of paintings. Love the variation in the color of the sky.

Gorgeous blues in that sky, Claire! This series is doing nothing if not renewing my desire to go to (whether visiting or moving there) Maine!

Beautiful light and mood. I wish I was on a deck, with my coffee, looking out on this scene rather than hiding from the winter cold!

Claire, this piece is exquisite. I love the length - perfect for this piece. Very peaceful and inviting.
