SIGNS OF SPRING

'Signs of Spring'
Oil 24 x 24

Recovering from some oral surgery I had
earlier this week, so I am posting an
older painting I have done of lilacs that were sitting in the
window of my studio beside a nest I had found
in the back yard. Still thinking about Spring...

If you would like to see more of my work,
please check out my website or my blog.
Thank you.

Love both of these gorgeous Lilac paintings. Makes me long for warm weather!

Hope you are feeling much better. I know oral surgery is not fun.

A very accomplished painting, you had so many different textures to paint! The painting is timeless and will always help to fight winter blues and discomfort (hope you are better now?)The nest is very special!

Hope you are feeling better today, Claire. I so love lilacs; my all time favorite flower. I am amazed at the detail you achieved, both this painting and the one below. I still love that knobbed glass in the vase below. Gorgeous paintings, both of them!

Oh, Claire, I hope all went well with your oral surgery. I wish I had that beautiful bouquet of lilacs to sent you. They are beautifully painted...I can smell their fragrance.

Thank you for the very nice comments everyone. I am feeling much better - once the swelling went down things started to improve!
