Day 39

A plein air view of another backyard - the Deckman Farm
in Mechanicsburg (who are also the owners
of Mountain View Nursery). The day began with overcast
skies, but started to clear up as the painting proceeded.
It's a beautiful farm, with a potential painting available
with every turn of your head.

Love how you've expanded your backyard to be "metaphorical". Great idea.

This is fabulous, Claire. I so love farm paintings (they are where I always wish I lived) and this one is delightful! I love how close the crop field is to their home, assuming one is standing out the back door on the property! So lovely, so well done!! (I am suddenly dreaming of corn on the cob...)

You really got a good painting, this day, Claire. It is such a beautiful place.
