This is my third entry for Leslie Saeta's 'Thirty Paintings in
Thirty Days Challenge'.  I woke up with a headache
this morning and as I reached for the Aleve, I also
realized that I had just found my subject matter for
today's painting.  I had so much fun painting the gelcaps!

All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal while painting from life
is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

If you would like to join this Challenge, or just follow the
work of the participating artists, just visit her blog:

Slices of Life by Leslie Saeta

If you would like to see more of my work,

interested in purchasing any of my paintings you see
here on this blog, please contact me.

Inspired by Aleve! I love it, and you made it work, maybe it's the warm ground constrasting with the blue shapes. Great job.

Hi Claire, thanks so much for coming by my blog and yes it is so nice to see other artists work. I've missed the DSFDF days with Karin Jurick. I've been following your blog since then and love your work too! Good luck with next 27. It will be fun to see how it goes.

Was so interesting to see your subject matter. Like heads this morning although I reached for the Excedrin and never gave a thought to painting it....brilliant idea.
