THE LAST BLOOMS OF SUMMER
An Original Oil Painting
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'The Last Blooms of Summer'
Oil on Panel
8 x 6

It was a perfect day to work on this little
painting of some rose blooms that I had
plucked from my garden before
the cold and frost set in last year.  It makes me think
of the warmth and sunshine of Summer, and
hopes that it brings that same feeling to you!

How lovely is this! The red rose is absolutely glowing and I love seeing the hint of stem through the blue glass. Thanks for the reminder of what is to come.
