BLUE ANGEL

Day 18

The different hostas in the garden are just starting to
get buds which will eventually turn into lily-like
flowers. I was walking around the back yard
and happened to notice this bud on the
Blue Angel Hosta, and thought it had a wonderful
oriental look to it. This was SO much fun to paint!

I didn't realize that the hosta plant had such a beautiful flower, Claire. What beautiful, soft, subltle colors.

Great composition and lovely palette! I'll look closer at my hostas now. The title is a perfect fit!
