Day 22

What makes flowers look prettier than a
beautiful blue flower pot? Just painting this
made the grey rainy day we are having (yes,
another one!!!) disappear.

'Meadow Sage'

Day 23

Everytime I walk out of the back door of my
house, I get to see these clumps of beautiful
blue meadow sage I planted along the stone
retaining wall. Every morning and every afternoon,
these flowers are covered with honeybees, and if
you have been following this challenge - you
already know how much I love my honeybees!

Ooh, these are both so beautiful!! Meadow sage is marked for me to check back on when I can get past some upcoming big expenses. I so love that piece...I love wildflowers and these are gorgeous!

The meadow sage is beautiful so many shades of blue with a a touch of lilac, your garden must be beautiful.

Both are very well done, Claire! I particularly like 'Meadow Sage'...well placed brush strokes against the dark ground.

I tried to leave a comment on the June 18th post but perhaps it didn't get through.
