Day 46

We've had some pretty intense, fast-moving storms this
summer. The other day we went from sunny skies to
a complete downpour - and then the sun came back out
and these clouds appeared. I grabbed my camera
to get some shots because I knew I wanted to
paint this!

You made a threatening, gray sky look beautiful, Claire. Love the colors you painted in them.

Skies are such a challenge to make them look interesting, and this is just perfect Claire! Beautiful colours.

Thanks for your comments Claire. Maine has been awesome this summer, the coast is so beautiful, but the great weather this year has really been been a huge bonus to enjoy it in. It makes a huge difference, (last summer rained and rained)
LOve your sky, you did a fabulous job, captured it really well!

Beautiful Claire! I love what you've been painting lately. I haven't had a lot of time to write comments but your work is lovely and I love the backyard idea... there can be so much close at hand to work from.
