Day 43

Another nest found in the backyard, this
time by my daughter. It's so nice that she and
my grandson are always on the look-out to see if
they can find me interesting subject matter to paint.
This nest was so well made - very soft, and made
almost entirely of the same type of grasses.
I need to do some investigation to see what
bird would create a nest like this - I am sure
that it wouldn't look anything like these three
roomates.
Do any of you know?

Such a gorgeous little autumn painting. It just holds such promise of life in my eyes.

I really love the palette in this one Claire, gorgeous blue against the ochre yellow, and you did a wonderful job handling the edges of the nest.

I don't know about what bird made this nest, Claire, but it sure did make a nice painting.
