'Blush'
Leslie Saeta's Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge
Day Seventeen
Oil on Panel

Brath and Hughes Fine Arts Gallery, L.L.C.

This Bartlett pear had such a beautiful blush.  I placed
it on a batik print cloth napkin, and a soft
fold automatically encircled the pear...
perhaps she is just a bit shy.

All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal while painting from life
is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

I can see her blush and hear a giggle of sorts..ha! The colors in this one are what I really am attracted to. That peachy background so warm and soft. The orange and blue are definitely a winner - too bad that the Broncos aren't. But I know you Ravens fans were happy. (smile)

Gorgeous pear - my favourite so far! I think it's probably the arrangement that particularly catches my eye.
