I am a huge fan of Leslie Saeta's.  Several years ago she interviewed
me on her 'Artists Helping Artists' Blog Talk Radio show, and
recently she started Webinarts to help artists learn how to
increase the sales of their work.  When I saw that she was
going to do this Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge,
I knew it would be a perfect kick-start to my year!

All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal while painting from life
is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

If you would like to join this Challenge, or just follow the
work of the participating artists, just visit her blog:

I love the garlic, you were able to get the value right which is hard for me with white objects. What's next?I look forward to seeing where you're headed.

Never a fan of garlic (the smell left in the body is so gross to me), but it sure makes for a nice painting. You've captured that inside color well too!
