KING OF THE MOUNTAIN

When my grandkids were here on New Year's Day, they
got into the toy stash I keep for them and started
playing with the Megabloks.  It always seems as
though there's an immediate competition to see who
can build the tallest tower.  Because I am painting from
life, and also trying to paint things I have
never painted before, I thought these would be perfect.

All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal while painting from life
is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

Love this one, Claire. My almost two year old grandchild, Zoƫ stays overnight one night a week and she loves these large Duplo Lego blocks.

I think I may have to set up a couple of them and try it in watercolor for one day of my challenge (that is if you don't mind).

I love this one ... simple objects yet complexity around each turn. Very well done.
