This pear was sitting in the studio ( it is artificial
but looks so real) and I loved the way the light was
illuminating it. It was pear-fect for the challenge!
All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal while painting from life
is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

Looks real the way you painted it! Reminds me, had 4 Bartlett's in a brown paper bag to 'ripen' them, let them stay too long in the bag..yishy. Paint on!
This pear has such a wonderful glow. I always keep a few artificial pears in my studio also!
I love the way you painted it tilted to one side. It looks so real with the wonderful light hitting it.
It doesn't look artificial, Claire.. You put the life into it. Beautiful work!
your paintings are so beautiful!
You gave a lot of life to an artificial one, love the glow! Great way to be creative everyday of the month!
