I am a huge fan of Leslie Saeta's.  Several years ago she interviewed
me on her 'Artists Helping Artists' Blog Talk Radio show, and
recently she started Webinarts to help artists learn how to
increase the sales of their work.  When I saw that she was
going to do this Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge,
I knew it would be a perfect kick-start to my year!

All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

If you would like to join this Challenge, or just follow the
work of the participating artists, just visit her blog:

This painting caught my eye early this morning on DPW. I, as with many artists, have a fondness for seeing the "tools of the trade" painted. I love this one! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Claire - love your painting, what a great idea to paint tubes of paint. I am always wanting to loosen up more, too so we will see how the next 30 days goes!
