This is my fifth entry for Leslie Saeta's 'Thirty Paintings in
Thirty Days Challenge 2015'. For this challenge, I have
decided to do thirty small studies from my trip last September
to Martha's Vineyard. My hope is that some of these studies
will be worked into larger paintings.
I am always drawn to marshes, and Chappaquiddick
did not disappoint me. They are most beautiful when the tide
is starting to recede, and the water shimmers between patches
of sea grasses.

I have never been to Martha's Vineyard, but viewing your paintings of it, makes me definitely want to see it in person. I love marshes for the animal habitat and life it provides. The color in this painting is fantastic!

Beautiful! A good sense of depth and a perfect composition. This would be great worked up into a larger piece.
