This is my nineteenth entry for Leslie Saeta's 'Thirty Paintings in
Thirty Days Challenge 2015'.  For this challenge, I have
decided to do thirty small studies from my trip last September
to Martha's Vineyard.  My hope is that some of these studies
will be worked into larger paintings.

I loved the way this well-used dinghy was
resting along the shoreline on the rocks, with the
bits of blue balancing all of the other earthy colors.

What a super job you are doing with this challenge, Claire! You are creating little gems! I can almost hear the water lapping the sides of this little dinghy!

Thank you all for taking the time to visit my blog, and for your kind comments. I have been so behind in responding to the comments, but when this 30 in 30 challenge ends I plan to go visit the blog of everyone who came here and commented. Thanks again!
