This is my eleventh entry for Leslie Saeta's 'Thirty Paintings in
Thirty Days Challenge 2015'. For this challenge, I have
decided to do thirty small studies from my trip last September
to Martha's Vineyard. My hope is that some of these studies
will be worked into larger paintings.

It's amazing what we can go through, and still survive. it was
obvious that this bush had been relentlessly beaten by the wind and
sand - even to the point where many of its roots
were exposed - yet it's will to live kept it alive and
thriving. We are all stronger than we think we are.

You are right Claire, I am sure we all have had times in our lives when we felt like that little bush looks. A good lesson in that painting!
Beautiful painting, Claire! The texture in the sand is awesome!
Wonderful work.
