This is my first entry for Leslie Saeta's 'Thirty Paintings in
Thirty Days Challenge 2015'. For this challenge, I have
decided to do thirty small studies from my trip last September
to Martha's Vineyard. My hope is that some of these studies
will be worked into larger paintings.
While we were visiting Chappaquiddick, we decided
to take a jeep tour that took us along the beach and to the
Cape Poge Lighthouse. This is the view as we were approaching
the road that took us directly to the lighthouse.
Our guide was fantastic, and what was supposed
to be a 1.5 hour trip turned into 3 hours (no extra charge!)
The tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
