Here are my entries for Days 24 and 25,  for Leslie Saeta's
'Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge 2015'.  For this challenge,
I have decided to do thirty small studies from my trip last September
to Martha's Vineyard.  My hope is that some of these studies
will be worked into larger paintings.

It's been an interesting day to try and paint.  I sat down,
finished up my first painting ('Sunlit Path'), and then
started 'Coastal Inlet'.  I had only painted for an hour or
so when there was a loud bang outside...and unfortunately
I know what that means  - we have lived on this corner
for 25 years, and have experienced quite a few accidents - most
of which involve someone hitting our stone wall.

Our wall was safe, but both vehicles had passengers that were
taken to the hospital by ambulance.  I would much rather have
our wall injured than the people in their cars.

If you would like to see more of my work,
please visit my website or my blog. If you are
interested in purchasing any of my paintings you see
here on this blog, please contact me.

Oh no, not again! I remember last time... Coastal Inlet is very colorful!
I am always intrigued by your "path" paintings. I find myself wanting to know where they lead. Nice work!

Hi Claire,
BOTH are nice paintings...
I am partial to the first one.
It is dreamy and so inviting!
Good luck with the last couple of Challenge Works!
This has been fun, Don't you think?

Boy, you are right, I recall a couple I have read about - I have seen your area on the news a few times this storm..you have really been hammered with icy roads.

Lovely paintings. Do you live on a curve? What a shame. Glad you have a wall though. We've been hammered by snow.
