These flowers are from my daughter's garden.
I liked the abstract qualities of the foliage
behind the flowers, and tried to keep that in
the painting - what do you think?

Great idea about the abstract patterns. I frequently encounter problems with backgrounds. This works very well!
I also like it. I think it really adds to the painting. You paint coneflowers really well, love the work.
