of being a participant at the first Gettysburg Festival Artist Colony
last week.
How amazing to be able to completely dedicate three whole days
to my craft, study with Master Painter Lisa Egeli, explore
Gettysburg looking for the perfect painting spot - and then
be treated to gourmet meals and air conditioned buses
that transported us to and from our painting events.
A dream come true, and many thanks to everyone associated
with the Gettysburg Festival who made all of this possible.

the Artist Colony.

Beautiful, paintings, Claire. You are the master of painting trees. I also like how interesting you made the large foreground on your second painting, all the while, leading our eye right where you want it.
Sounds like something I would like to do, ps great painting.
Both paintings are lovely - looks like your workshop was full of learning and practice experiences!
